A great show.
The Sopranos came out when I was in earning my PhD in psychology and interning as a psychotherapist. So it was very wild to see well-researched, smart psychotherapy portrayed in such a popular show.
I really enjoyed it and me and all my friends would gather around each Sunday night for a watch party… and then discuss it afterwards. So much fun.
The one thing I did not like about The Sopranos (something I figured out in retrospect) is that paved the way for a host of shows and movies (stuff like Mad Men and Breaking Bad) where the audience we tricked into rooting for characters who were sociopaths.
