On Motivation – Tom Kubistant (1988)

Here’s a book I found at the bottom of a heap of printouts from several years ago that I’ve been meaning to bin for a while. During the late 1980’s this sort of “Use Your Head to Up Your Game” mental approach was very popular, and may still be today.
Not having a scanner, I looked for a photo of its cover online, and stumbled on this 18-page listing of Sports Psychology books put together in 2007. Some of the titles are HILARIOUS and this morning with a cup of coffee I got some huge laughs while going through them.

If your sense of humor is kinda-sorta somewhat like mine, you might have a good time going through them.
I know I sure did!
The author of the book above also put out books on how to improve your golf game by using the amazing! powers! of! the! mind! If your sense of humor is kinda-sorta somewhat like mine, you might want to make sure there’s no coffee in your mouth before you view it.
Great photo that I for one will be returning to if I ever feel a little down and don’t have much desire to lift. They say humor is the best medicine and I completely agree.
That list. It’s a keeper. Highly motivating, in my view. Fucking hilarious! I wonder if they have this sort of “Go for the Gold” nonsense for people dealing with constipation. No matter . . . I’m on it over here in a big way today with “Your Right to Regularity and How to Reclaim It” and will get back to some lifting stuff tomorrow, or tomorrow, or tomorrow.
Enjoy Your Lifting!
